About The Service
How it works: You drop off your tapes, we digitize them to MP4 files (edited to remove blank tape at the start and end). Simple.Accepted formats: VHS, Beta, 8mm, Mini DVDrop-off & pickup: In-person only, in the Bee Cave / Dripping Springs area. We don't ship tapes — your memories never leave Austin.Delivery of your digital files: You provide an external drive, or we'll put the files on a Google Drive for you to download within 14 days.Cost: $10 per tape. Seriously.Turnaround: Depends on job size and queue, but we move fast.

Not sure what's on that tape?You're not alone. A lot of our customers come to us with mystery tapes — unlabeled, decades old, no idea if it's a priceless family wedding or a recorded episode of Wheel of Fortune from 1994.That's why we offer the Preview add-on.For just $2 per tape, we'll send you a quick visual preview — a series of stills captured every 1–3 minutes throughout the tape — so you can see exactly what's on it before committing to the full $10 conversion.How it works:1. Tell us which tapes you want previewed when you drop off.
2. We send you the preview stills within a few days.
3. You decide which tapes are worth converting. Pay $10/tape only for the keepers.It's the cheapest insurance you'll find against paying to digitize 90 minutes of static.Mix and match: choose Preview on a per-tape basis. Some tapes you already know the contents of? Skip the preview and go straight to conversion.
